This Peanut Butter Fudge recipe is the ultimate indulgence for peanut butter lovers! With a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture and the perfect balance of sweetness, this treat requires only a few simple ingredients and no baking. It’s quick, easy, and perfect for holidays, gift-giving, or any time you’re craving a rich, creamy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ¾ cups powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Melt Butter and Peanut Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat once it’s well combined and creamy.
  3. Add Vanilla and Sugar: Stir in the vanilla extract, then gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, about 1 cup at a time, stirring until smooth and thick. The mixture will become quite stiff, so you may want to use a hand mixer for this step.
  4. Press into Pan: Once the fudge mixture is fully combined, transfer it to the prepared pan. Press it evenly into the pan, smoothing the top with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
  5. Chill and Set: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it’s firm enough to cut. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and place it on a cutting board.
  6. Slice and Enjoy: Cut the fudge into small squares and enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
