  1. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crushed pineapple, 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans, green bell pepper, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the Cheese Ball: Use a spatula or your hands to form the mixture into a ball. Place it on a sheet of plastic wrap, wrap it tightly, and refrigerate for at least an hour to firm up.
  3. Coat with Pecans: Before serving, roll the cheese ball in the remaining 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, pressing gently so they adhere to the outside. This gives the cheese ball a crunchy coating and beautiful presentation.
