Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap or parchment paper and pound them to an even thickness (about 1 inch).
  2. Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, set up the breading station:
    • In the first bowl, place the flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
    • In the second bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
    • In the third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken breast first into the flour, shaking off the excess. Next, dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking sheet and place it in the preheated oven to keep warm.
  5. Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow the cream to simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve
Remove the chicken from the oven and drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
