Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced garlic sausage and cook until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Slowly stir in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sausage
Add the cooked rigatoni and sausage to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve and Garnish
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
