Step 2: Mix the Glaze

  1. Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger (if using) until well blended.

Step 3: Add to Slow Cooker

  1. Layer Ingredients
Place the sliced kielbasa in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the glaze mixture over the kielbasa, making sure each piece is well-coated.
  2. Stir
Gently stir to distribute the glaze evenly over the sausage slices.

Step 4: Cook

  1. Set the Slow Cooker
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  2. Check Consistency
Toward the end of cooking, if you’d like a thicker glaze, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes to let some of the liquid evaporate.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Serve Hot
Once cooked, transfer to a serving dish with toothpicks for easy snacking. For added appeal, sprinkle with fresh parsley or sesame seeds if desired.
