Puff pastry horns are not only beautiful to look at but also incredibly easy to make. All you need is a roll of store-bought puff pastry and a few ingredients for the filling, and you’ll have a stunning pastry that looks bakery-worthy!
Ingredients
For the Pastry Horns:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Granulated sugar (for sweet horns) or sesame seeds (for savory horns)
For Sweet Filling (Optional):
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
For Savory Filling (Optional):
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like chives or parsley), chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
