- Toast the Bread: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the Texas toast slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with melted butter. Sprinkle the garlic powder over the bread.
- Bake the Toast: Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Assemble: Place a generous scoop of the beef mixture on one slice of Texas toast. Top with the other slice to form a sandwich.
- Serve: Serve hot with your favorite side dishes like chips, fries, or a simple salad.
