Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, and ginger. Reserve about 1/4 cup of the marinade for glazing later.
  2. Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring all pieces are coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a more intense flavor.
  3. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  4. Bake the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Brush the tops with the reserved marinade. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Broil for Extra Glaze
For an extra caramelized glaze, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
  6. Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro or green onions. Serve with your choice of sides.
