Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, and ginger. Reserve about 1/4 cup of the marinade for glazing later. - Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring all pieces are coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a more intense flavor. - Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking. - Bake the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Brush the tops with the reserved marinade. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. - Broil for Extra Glaze
For an extra caramelized glaze, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning. - Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro or green onions. Serve with your choice of sides.
