- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. - Mix the Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined. - Add the Corn and Cheese
Stir in the drained corn, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions (if using). Mix until the corn is evenly coated with the creamy mixture. - Transfer to Baking Dish
Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. - Add the Topping
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the crushed cornflakes for added crunch. - Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown. - Serve
Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm as a side dish!
