- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal. - Make the Cake Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay. - Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined. - Assemble the Cake
Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Then, drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter. Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter. Pour the remaining cake batter on top and spread it evenly. - Bake the Cake
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Make the Glaze
While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar as needed. - Cool and Glaze
Once the cake is baked, allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, drizzle the glaze over the warm cake. - Serve
