These Butterfinger Balls are a quick and easy dessert that require no baking. With just a few ingredients, you can whip up these delicious treats in no time. They’re perfect for holidays, parties, or just because!
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup crushed Butterfinger candies (about 4-5 bars)
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate coating)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth. Add the crushed Butterfinger candies and stir until fully incorporated. - Form the Balls
Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You should have about 20-24 balls. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up. - Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. - Coat the Balls
Dip each chilled Butterfinger ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat it evenly. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. - Chill and Serve
Once all the balls are coated, refrigerate them for another 30 minutes to set the chocolate. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Tips for the Best Butterfinger Balls
- Crush the Candy: For a more textured filling, crush the Butterfinger bars into larger pieces.
- Make it Crunchy: If you love extra crunch, you can add crushed graham crackers to the peanut butter mixture.
- Store Properly: Store the Butterfinger Balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
