Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Lobster Tails
- Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Butterfly the Lobster Tails
Using kitchen scissors, cut down the center of each lobster tail shell. Carefully pull the meat up from the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on top of the shell. - Season the Lobster Tails
Brush each lobster tail with melted butter, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a little lemon juice to enhance the flavor.
Step 2: Bake the Lobster Tails
- Bake
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook as lobster can become tough.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- Sauté the Garlic
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring, until it’s fragrant and just beginning to turn golden. - Add Cream and Parmesan
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon zest, cooking for an additional 3–4 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Serve
- Plate the Lobster
Pour a generous amount of the garlic cream sauce over each lobster tail, allowing it to coat the meat and drip over the shell. - Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and serve immediately. Pair with sides like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
