Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Set Oven Temperature
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with foil for easy cleanup and grease lightly to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Prepare the Glaze

  1. Combine Ingredients
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ketchup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and ground ginger. Stir until well mixed and smooth.

Step 3: Coat the Chicken

  1. Season the Chicken
    Pat the chicken legs or wings dry with a paper towel and season with a little salt and pepper.
  2. Add Glaze
    Place the chicken pieces in the prepared baking dish and pour the glaze mixture over the top, making sure each piece is well-coated.

Step 4: Bake the Chicken

  1. Bake in Oven
    Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 45–60 minutes (depending on size), turning the chicken once or twice during cooking to ensure even caramelization.
  2. Broil for Extra Crispness
    For extra caramelized, crispy skin, turn on the broiler for the last 3–5 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye on the chicken to prevent burning.

  1. Serve Warm
    Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions for a pop of color if desired.
