Directions for Making Garlic Butter Chicken Bites with Creamy Parmesan Pasta
1. Cook the Pasta
Begin by boiling a pot of salted water. Add your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
2. Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
3. Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Then, add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the skillet from heat.
4. Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), and a bit of salt and pepper.
5. Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the chicken. Pour the creamy parmesan sauce over the top and gently toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
6. Serve
Serve the garlic butter chicken bites and creamy parmesan pasta hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for an added burst of color and flavor.
