Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine hash browns, 1/2 cup melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together crushed cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the hash brown mixture.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
