AMAZING CHICKEN SPAGHETTI

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Recipe Directions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell peppers and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the condensed cream of chicken soup, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and chicken broth until well combined.
  5. Add the shredded chicken, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the chicken mixture and half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Mix until well combined.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
