Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (gettin’ it nice and toasty).
Grab your trusty cast iron skillet and heat it up over medium-high heat.
Toss in the ground beef and give it a good sizzle, breaking up any clumps with your wooden spoon.
Once it’s all browned, go ahead and drain off any excess grease.
Now, stir in those lovely tomatoes and that flavorful taco seasoning.
Take half of the tortillas and arrange them in a 13×9-inch baking dish, making a cozy bed for the filling.
Plop that scrumptious beef mixture right on top of the tortillas.
Layer the rest of the tortillas on top of the beef, like a warm blanket.
Time for the salsa! Spread it generously on top, then finish it off with a handful (or two) of that melty cheese.
Pop it in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is all bubbly and golden.
Serve it up piping hot and watch everyone dig in!
