Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour half of the sauce over the chicken. Toss to coat and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water. Add the remaining sauce to the skillet along with the cornstarch mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the chicken over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
